Diwidant Sŵn / The Industry of Sound  – 4 x 30’ for BBC Radio Cymru

People often talk about the specific musical ‘sounds’ of artists from different areas in Wales, but is the source of their creative expression inspired by geography or the distant hum of local industries? By threading together work site field recordings with music, these half hour sound collages will suggest that the later is the dominant factor.

Rockfield – The Studio on the Farm

A documentary feature about the legendary recording studio Rockfield in Monmouth, Wales which has witnessed some of the worlds most famous bands – Oasis, Motorhead, Led Zeppelin, Coldplay, Stone Roses – record their biggest hits including Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody.

Animated feature film – Building on the original concept and characters invented for the album Candylion, released in 2007. Gruff Rhys and National Theatre Wales created an immersive family theatre show for Christmas 2015. We will extend this world in to an animated feature film. Working alongside Jon Rennie & Paul Nichols from Bait Studios/Cloth CatPete Fowler Mark James who are all long term ie ie productions collaborators and have track records in animation.


Elen – 1 x 15’ Film for S4C / European Broadcast Union’s Children’s Drama Series 2017/18.

Combining live action, music and animation this cinematic short explores the imagination and experiences of a preteen girl with epilepsy.
